Suspended Assistant Police Inspector (API) Sachin Vaze, who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday for involvement in placing an explosive-laden SUV near Mukesh Ambani's residence Antilia last month, has filed a habeas corpus petition before the Bombay High Court challenging his arrest. His plea says that his arrest by the NIA in the explosives-case is "illegal" on the grounds that proper procedure was not followed while making the arrest.
