The annual membership of Amazon Prime will now cost Rs. 1,499 instead of the earlier Rs. 999. However, you can renew your membership today and enjoy Prime for only Rs. 999 for 1 more year.
Amazon Prime membership price is all set to be hiked in India from tomorrow i.e. December 14. This will end the 999 yearly membership plan for Amazon Prime from midnight tonight, The new price of the Amazon Prime membership will be hiked by Rs. 500 in India.
Amazon had announced an increase in Prime membership fees back in October, however, the e-commerce giant had not revealed a date for the price hike back then. Amazon’s Prime membership not only provides faster shipping and access to Amazon sales a day early but also has streaming services for movies and music which can be availed only by the paid members of Amazon.
