Water is most recommended by health care experts, but a new study says people looking to manage cardiometabolic risk and weight may be able to add low- or no-calorie sweetened beverages to their drink choices.
Americans eat about 60 pounds (27 kilograms) of sugar annually on average -- and almost half of that comes from drinks, according to the American Heart Association.
