An alleged serial killer in Winnipeg is expected to be in court on Monday.
Pre-trial proceedings are expected to begin this week for Jeremy Skibicki, who is accused of killing four Indigenous women between March and May of last year.
Skibicki faces charges in connection with deaths of Rebecca Contois, 24; Morgan Harris, 39; Marcedes Myran, 26; and a fourth woman who is being referred to as Buffalo Woman.
Contois’ remains were found in the Brady Road Landfill last year, and it’s believed the remains of Harris and Myran are buried in the Prairie Green Landfill.
None of the charges against Skibicki have been proven in court and he maintains his innocence.
