All 21 residents at a seniors' apartment complex in Stratford are safe after reports of a fire around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
The fire was on the second floor, according to a firefighter at the scene. No one was injured but one resident went to hospital for other medical concerns, the RCMP said in a news release.
"Fire damages were contained to a small section of the building with smoke affecting larger areas," the statement said.
RCMP said the provincial fire marshal attended the scene and the fire is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
