In a major development that can bring peace in Assam's Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), all insurgents of the newly formed insurgent group National Liberation Front of Bodoland (NLFB) will surrender on Thursday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said. The group was floated after some disgruntled cadres of the erstwhile insurgent outfit National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) returned to the forest. NLFB is active mostly in the BTR. The surrendered NLFB insurgents will be received by Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Pramod Boro at Lalpani and they will be brought to Guwahati later in the day after completing all formalities at Majbat in Udalguri.More Related News
