HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater met Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) secretary-general Helga Maria Schmid Saturday on the sidelines of the 2nd Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting dealt with reviewing co-operation between Qatar and the OSCE. They discussed the latest developments in Ukraine and ways to deliver humanitarian aid, as well as relying on dialogue and mediation to resolve the crisis.HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater meets the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia James Swan (above) and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) president Peter Maurer (below).
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Afghanistan, particularly in the humanitarian, developmental, and educational fields. HE AlKhater also met International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) president Peter Maurer on the sidelines of the Forum. The meeting dealt with reviewing co-operation between Qatar and the ICRC, the latest developments in Afghanistan, particularly with regard to continuing the work of the International Red Crescent. HE the Assistant Foreign Minister also met the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Somalia James Swan.
