Alia Bhatt to add Kapoor to her surname soon, says 'I don’t want to feel left out'

Alia Bhatt will become Alia Bhatt Kapoor soon. The actress revealed that she was busy with travel and work but will change her surname before welcoming their baby.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are soon expecting their first child and we are eagerly waiting to hear the good news. The duo tied the knot in April this year. After their wedding, many wondered if Alia would add Kapoor to her name. Looks like now we finally have an answer. In a recent interview, Alia revealed that she will soon add Kapoor to her surname!
In an interview with Mid-day Alia said she will be happy to add Kapoor to her surname. She said that she has been planning to change her name but did not find the time amid busy schedules and travels. Speaking to Mid-Day, Alia said, "We are going to have a child now. I don’t want to be the Bhatt, whilst the Kapoors are traveling together; you know what I mean? I don’t want to feel left out.”
On Sunday, August 14, Alia Bhatt shared a glimpse of the sunny weather in Italy,where she had headed for her babymoon. The video featured Ranbir Kapoor in an all-blue look with a blue shirt and denim pants. He soaked-up the sun wearing a pair of sunglasses. In the video, he grooved to the latest song of Brahmastra, titled Deva Deva. Sharing the video, Alia wrote, “The light of my life (sic),” with lots of fire emojis.
In Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of agni astra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it marks the first collaboration between Alia and Ranbir. Alia as Isha plays Ranbir’s love interest in the film. Interestingly, they fell in love while working on the film.
