A special screening for late Rishi Kapoor's Sharmaji Namkeen was held last night in Mumbai. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, Aadar Jain attended the event.

The day we lost legendary actor Rishi Kapoor, April 30, 2020, we knew the film industry had lost a gem. People would often say that Rishi Kapoor's acting prowess is like flowing water; it shapes itself to whatever vessel you put it in. The late legendary actor’s last film, Sharmaji Namkeen will release on Amazon Prime Video on March 31. A special screening was hosted by the makers for Rishi Kapoor’s family on March 9. Alia Bhatt and the entire Kapoor clan comprising Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, and others were seen at the event.

Late legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor’s last film, Sharmaji Namkeen will release on March 31 on Amazon Prime Video. A special screening of the film was organised for the family by the makers. Alia Bhatt posed with Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her husband Bharat Sahni, their daughter, Samaira for photos at the screening. Aadar Jain, Randhir Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, were also spotted at the event.

Rishi Kapoor passed away when Sharmaji Namkeen was in the making. Paresh Rawal then took on the baton to complete the film. Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal will play similar roles in the flick. Photos of Paresh Rawal dressed as Rishi Kapoor has been out and about on the web.

Sharmaji Namkeen has been directed by Hitesh Bhatia, produced by Excel Entertainment in association with MacGuffin Pictures. The film stars late Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, alongside Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar.
