Alia Bhatt and Aamir Khan are coming together for a very special project. And we know what it is.

Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt have never been cast opposite each other. Alia Bhatt has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Dear Zindagi and was even cast opposite Salman Khan in Sanjay Bhansali’s shelved project Inshah Allah. But the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress has never worked with the Laal Singh Chaddha star, Aamir Khan. All that is about to change now. Here's how.

IndiaToday,in has exclusively learnt that Alia Bhatt and Aamir Khan have teamed up for a commercial, which marks their very first project together. The ad was shot at Mumbai's Film City today, March 29. A source reveals, "It’s a quirky concept and Alia and Aamir look really good together. She was very excited about working with Aamir."

Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt may have never shared screen space, but they did share the stage at the RRR Delhi event. At the pre-release event of RRR in Delhi on March 20, Aamir Khan joined actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan, along with Alia Bhatt and director SS Rajamouli on stage. The Laal Singh Chaddha actor even reluctantly tried to imitate the Naatu Naatu hook step with Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia.

So, now that they have danced together on stage, and will be seen together before the camera, albeit for an ad, wouldn't it be great to see them on the big screen too?
