Ali’s girlfriend Richa Chadha responded with an equally heartfelt note and promised to hold him tight. The actor’s mother passed away on June 17, 2020, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Taking to his official Instagram handle, Ali Fazal shared a post that moved everyone’s heart. Along with a video clip of his late mother, the actor wrote, “A topsy turvy world indeed. I know one thing, if there is anything out there that can destroy my insides it is a grief so thickly layered into me that i see my days almost numbered as this spectacularly energetic protozoa inches its way into the matters of the heart (sic).”
