Ali Abbas Zafar and wife Alicia welcome baby girl Alija Zehra Zafar

Ali Abbas Zafar and wife Alicia have been blessed with a baby girl. The filmmaker took to social media to post the good news and also shared that they have named her Alija Zehra Zafar.

Ali Abbas Zafar and his wife Alicia Zafar have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on September 24. The filmmaker took to Instagram on Sunday, September 25, to share that they have been blessed with a daughter and along with the name of their little munchkin - Alija Zehra Zafar. Ali and his wife Alicia tied the knot in 2021.

Ali Abbas Zafar shared a picture of his wife Alicia flaunting her baby bump. "Alicia and I began our journey with love , love which is beyond borders - colour & Race , we are very fortunate that we found each other and got married , Now after almost after 2 years we are thankful to Almighty Allah for blessing us with most beautiful gift of our life. She came in our life on 24th September at midnight 12.25 . Please welcome our bundle of Joy - Alija Zehra Zafar Ali Alicia Alija #Aliverse (sic)," read the note.

On January 4, Ali Abbas Zafar shared a picture of entwined hands of his and his wife. In the picture, the couple was seen dressed in a wedding attire. While his wife’s hand was adorned with golden jewellery, Ali was seen in a white ethnic outfit. While sharing the picture, Ali wrote, “Bismillah (sic).”

Ali Abbas Zafar entered the film industry as an assistant director. He made his directorial debut with the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan in 2011. He has also directed hit films such as Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. He even produced Khaali Peeli, starring Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter. He made his digital debut with the Amazon Prime Video series Tandav.
