Algerian President visits Qatar National Library

President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his accompanying delegation visited on Monday Qatar National Library (QNL) as part of his current visit to the country. Upon his arrival at the library, the Algerian President was received by HE Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari. During the visit, he was briefed on the architectural structure of Qatar National Library and the most important books it contains in various sciences, arts and literature. In his speech on the honorary record of the library, the Algerian President praised the treasures and holdings of Qatar National Library of manuscripts, periodicals, valuables, rare maps, old books, and others. Abdelmadjid Tebboun expressed pleasure to visit this civilizational and cultural landmark, during his visit to the State of Qatar, as one of the evidence of the renaissance in this authentic Arab country. The library is a landmark that indicates the importance that Qatar's leadership attaches to science and knowledge and building a person capable of keeping up with time using knowledge and technology, he added. The President congratulated the brothers in Qatar for this richness and diversity of Qatar National Library, adding that it is another proud achievement of the State of Qatar.
