April 1 is celebrated as April Fool's day. On this day, people tend to make fools out of their near and dear ones by pulling hilarious pranks on them. And our Bollywood celebrities are no different. There are several big names in Bollywood who are known to be pranksters on the sets of their films. Right from Akshay Kumar to Ajay Devgn, these B-town celebs are known to pull off pranks on their co-stars and cast members.
On The Kapil Sharma Show, during the promotion of Atrangi Re, Sara Ali Khan revealed how her co-star Akshay Kumar fooled her on the sets of their movie. On the comedy show, the actress revealed that Akshay fooled her into believing that he gave her God's 'prasad'. Little did Sara know that Akshay had offered her a garlic ball. "It wasn't like you cooked for me sarson ka saag, you gave me whole garlic," revealed Sara.
Veteran actress Zeenat Aman once revealed how Abhishek Bachchan pulled a hilarious prank on her during the 1983 film Pukar's shoot. Going down memory lane, Zeenat Aman recalled that Abhishek Bachchan would often ring the doorbell and run away. Initially, the veteran actress wouldn't know who was doing it, but one day, she caught Abhishek red-handed. The senior actress shared this anecdote in Super Dance 3.
Though Aamir Khan is regarded as the perfectionist of Bollywood, he is also one of the pranksters of the tinsel town. His Andaz Apna Apna co-star Raveena Tandon once told IANS, "He asked for a cup of tea and suddenly, I see this hot cup of tea falling from his hand and coming in my direction. I got scared and I immediately tried to duck, only to realise that it was a prank. The cup was empty, and it was tied to the plate by a thread."
During the promotion of The Big Bull, Abhishek Bachchan revealed how Ajay Devgn managed to fool the cast and crew into believing that their film's shoot location was haunted. When they were shooting at a fort, Ajay asked Abhishek to wear a saree and leave marks around the fort in order to scare the entire crew of the film.
Amitabh Bachchan joined hands with Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar to play a prank on Katrina Kaif. When the Sooryavanshi trio appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Big B conducted a round where the partner wasn't supposed to help the other in answering the question. However, Akshay knowingly helped Katrina and this irked Big B and he left the set. Later on, Sr Bachchan, Akshay and Rohit returned to the set and informed Katrina that it was a prank.
