Akshay Kumar released the trailer of his upcoming film Cuttputlli on Saturday, August 20. Akshay, who returns as a cop, is seen tracking down serial killers in the upcoming film. He stars alongside Rakul Prdeet Singh. During one of their promotional events, Akshay Kumar was seen playing a prank on Rakul. Sharing the video, Akshay wrote, "It was all fun and games until someone decided to play mind games Make your fun reels with a twist on #Saathiya Looking forward to sharing the best ones (sic)."

Akshay Kumar left fans asking for more as he returns as a cop with Cuttputlli. The 2-minute-50 second trailer shows Akshay and his team on a mission to nab a serial killer.

Cuttputlli is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film Ratsasan, which starred Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead. The Hindi version stars Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh.
