Akali leaders detained while trying to 'gherao' residence of Punjab minister

The Akali workers were protesting outside the residence of Punjab minister Bharat Bhushan in Ludhiana, demanding the arrest of Lok Insaf Party (LIP) MLA Simranjit Singh Bains in an alleged rape case.
