Ajinkya Rahane and his wife Radhika took their first doses of Covid-19 vaccine on Saturday in Mumbai and urged the eligible ones in the country to take the jab. India logged a record one-day rise in Covid-19 deaths as cases surged by more than 400,000 for the third consecutive day on Friday.
India vice-captain Ajinya Rahane is the latest cricketer to take the Covid-19 vaccine. The Mumbai batsman took to social media on Saturday to share a photo of himself taking the Covid-19 vaccine. He urged the fellow countrymen, the ones eligible, to get the vaccine in a bid to stay safe and fight the pandemic. Both me and Ajinkya got our first dose of the vaccine today.
