The NCB suspects he was part of the drug supply syndicate run by Farukh Batata and his son Shadab Batata. Ajaz's name surfaced in the NCB investigation after drug peddler Shadab's arrest. The NCB also conducted raids at several locations connected to the actor in Andheri and Lokhandwala. The NCB officials confirmed that Ajaz Khan has been arrested by the agency after eight hours of interrogation on Tuesday. The actor was detained from the Mumbai airport on March 31 and was brought to the NCB office for probe. Farukh Batata was also question for eight hours yesterday in the same case.
