Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in OTT show Rudra, interacted with IndiaToday.in through metaverse technology. The actor shared that his kids Nysa and Yug tell him what's cool and what's not.
Ajay Devgn, who made his OTT debut with Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, did a unique metaverse interaction with IndiaToday.in. In what seems to be the first try for an actor to dabble in this new technology, Ajay spoke to the media as a virtual character. For someone who has young kids, daughter Nysa and son Yug, the actor says he’s always guided by them on what’s cool and what’s not.
In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Ajay Devgn spoke about how his kids Nysa and Yug keeps him updated on the latest trends in the digital space. Ajay said, “I think we all learn from the younger generation. If we have to keep up with the world, we need to understand from them. Apart from my kids, my nephews, and everybody who is younger around me, we actually ask them what's cool because the language is also changing every three months. I mean there are terms which are used and then you learn that term and use it and after three months, they turn around and say ‘Pops, this is old fashion!’”
Ajay further added, “So you need to keep up and to do that, you need to have lots of conversations and need to learn from them. This is what I believe. I couldn't understand all this; they are the ones who explained to me that this is how it happens. In fact, my son doesn't know that today I am doing this metaverse, I will go back home and tell him.”
Ajay Devgn’s Rudra opened to rave reviews. He has also been applauded for his performance on the big screen for Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
