Ajay Devgn had an apt reply for South star Kiccha Sudeep after he claimed that 'Hindi is no more a national language'. This has come in the wake of South films shattering box office figures.
Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn defended Hindi as a language after Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep said at an event that Hindi is not a national language anymore. While Sudeep's statement drew a lot of flak on social media, Runway 34 actor Ajay tweeted against Sudeep’s controversial revelation.
South star Kiccha Sudeep has been subjected to brutal trolling ever since he said at an event that “Hindi is no more a national language.” This comes in the wake of South films breaking records at the box office. Owing to the same, Ajay Devgn had a staunch reply to Sudeep, which he posted on Twitter in Hindi. Its English translation can be roughly translated to, "KicchaSudeep, my brother, according to you, if Hindi is not our national language then why do you release your native language [mother tongue] films by dubbing them in Hindi? Hindi was, is and always will be our mother tongue and national language. Jan Gan Man."

Kiccha Sudeep has now replied to Ajay Devgn's tweet. He wrote, "Hello @ajaydevgn sir.. the context to why i said tat line is entirely different to the way I guess it has reached you. Probably wil emphasis on why the statement was made when I see you in person. It wasn't to hurt,Provoke or to start any debate. Why would I sir (sic)."
