Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya flew down to Chennai to watch Ponniyin Selvan with Mani Ratnam and team. Karthi, Trisha, Chiyaan Vikram and Jayam Ravi were having a gala time.

Director Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan is taking the box office by storm. Post the release of the film, the director organised a special screening for the cast and crew in Chennai. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived with her daughter Aaradhya to watch the film in Chennai. Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Vikram Prabhu were some of the celebrities who attended the screening.

Ponniyin Selvan managed to collect Rs 230 crore worldwide in just three days. The film released in multiple languages and is having a great run at the box office.

Director Mani Ratnam arranged a special screening of Ponniyin Selvan in Chennai for the cast and crew. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya had great fun at the screening. Ponniyin Selvan is based on the popular Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. The film features Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayam Ravi and Karthi in lead roles. The film's second part will release in another six to nine months. The post-production work of the second part is currently underway.
