As per reports, Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen were in talks to appear on Koffee With Karan Season 7. The show will stream on Disney+ Hotstar this time.
As the world gears up for Koffee With Karan, everyone is wondering who will be gracing the couch of the reality show in season 7. While we know Vijay Deverakonda recently shot for his Koffee With Karan episode, on the other hand, it was believed that Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would appear together on the show. However, Karan Johar has now shut down the rumours about the pageant queens appearing on the show together.
Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan competed in the Miss India beauty pageant in 1994. While Aishwarya was a popular name already, owing to her modelling career, Sushmita wasn't as famous. But eventually, she ended up beating Aishwarya for the title of Miss India in 1994. Since then, the actresses have not been seen together on screen. Rumours were that the two of them were to appear together on Koffee With Karan 7. But, according to Bollywood Hungama, host Karan Johar denied any such rumours, calling it "rubbish."
Apart from them, it is being reported that Kareena Kapoor, who has appeared in every season of Koffee with Karan till date, will be coming with sister Karisma Kapoor this season.
On the work front, Sushmita was last seen in the second season of Aarya. Aishwarya is gearing up for Ponniyin Selvan with Mani Ratnam.
