
Airtel, Jio rolled out new bulk data plans under Rs 500, here is what they offer

Earlier this month, telecom companies Airtel and Jio introduced new bulk data plans with no daily data limit for users. While Jio has brought in plans with 15, 30,60, 90 and 365 days validity, Airtel has launched a bulk daily data plan with 60 days validity, as of now.
Airtel and Jio have introduced new no daily data limit prepaid plans that give unlimited calling and daily SMS benefits. Earlier this month, telecom companies Airtel and Jio introduced new bulk data plans with no daily data limit for users. Jio has introduced five prepaid plans in this category with 15, 30, 60, 90 and 365 days validity. Airtel has introduced one plan with bulk data benefits and 60 days validity. TRAI had suggested that it earlier that the telcos should offer 30 days validity as it received complaints from consumers who said they feel cheated because of 28-day validity plans as they have to get 13 recharges done per year. After introducing the new prepaid plans, Jio suggested TRAI to issue an advisory to telecom companies to offer at least one prepaid plan voucher (PV), special tariff voucher (STV) and combo voucher (CV) with 30-day validity to address consumer complaints around the 28-day packs.More Related News
