The Tiruchirappalli airport in Tamil Nadu has made preparations for an emergency landing and ambulances are on standby after an Air India Express flight reported a hydraulic failure, sources said.
The flight, AXB 613, which was headed to Sharjah, reported the hydraulic failure some time after it took off from Tiruchirappalli.
The restaurant, located on the sixth floor of Ratnam's Complex on upscale M. G. Road near the Chinnaswamy International Cricket Stadium, has been reported to be functioning without a no objection certificate from the Fire Department.
"We received the complaint and filed a case. However, those named in the FIR claimed that they obtained a stay order from the court the same evening. But we are yet to receive the order," a senior officer said.
The accident occurred at the temple's Anna Kshetra in the morning.
