Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the aim of school education was to make students good human beings, hardcore patriots, and employable.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that the aim of the school education structure of Delhi was to make students good human beings, hardcore patriots, and employable.
CM Kejriwal was talking at an event to mark four years of the 'Happiness Curriculum'
Kejriwal said that back when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came into power in Delhi, the state of schools in the capital was poor and the board exam results were also not up to the mark.
"But now we are doing well. We have introduced various curricula that have reduced academic pressure," said the CM
"Happiness classes help reduce mental stress in students and that's why thankfully there is no case of student suicide in Delhi," he said.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the state government's aim was to create students who disseminare a message of love in teh country instead of spreading hate.
He mentioned that even the former US President Donald Trump's wife Melania Trump has been impressed by the Delhi government's Happiness programme classes after attending them.
