A laboratory assistant at AIIMS, Delhi and his sister have been arrested after they took Rs 2.8 lakhs from a Covid patient to arrange a bed at Safdarjung Hospital.
A laboratory assistant at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, and his sister have been arrested for allegedly taking Rs 2.8 lakh from a Covid patient to arrange a bed at Safdarjung Hospital. The accused, identified as Pankaj Kumar and his sister RamKavalpreet Kaur, are currently in police custody. According to deputy commissioner of police (Rohini) Pranav Tayal, the complainant Haripal Kumar lodged a complaint with the Covid helpline, after which a first information report was lodged and the police started their investigation.More Related News
