Former Tamil Nadu Minister and senior All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader D Jayakumar filed a police complaint against ousted party leader VK Sasikala after she hoisted the AIADMK flag and unveiled a plaque, declaring herself the party’s General Secretary.
She unfurled the flag outside the MGR memorial on October 17 to mark the party's 50th anniversary. AIADMK had expelled Sasikala after she was convicted in a disproportionate assets case in 2016.
