AIADMK MLAs miffed with Collector for receiving petition while remaining seated

The AIADMK MLAs were reportedly miffed with the Coimbatore District Collector for receiving their petition while remaining seated on the chair.

Former Tamil Nadu assembly deputy speaker Pollachi Jayaraman and other All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) MLAs on Thursday reportedly took exception to Coimbatore District Collector receiving a petition from them while sitting down on a chair. The incident took place on Thursday when the AIADMK MLAs went to hand over a petition to the District Collector Sameeran regarding continuing the ongoing projects announced by earlier AIADMK government.
