AIADMK leader Ponniyan urges party's IT wing to expose BJP for not fighting for Tamil Nadu’s rights

Amid the infighting in the AIADMK over the fact that the Tamil Nadu BJP is overshadowing them, the organisational secretary, Ponnaiyan, has asked the AIADMK IT Wing to expose the BJP for not fighting for the state’s rights.
The AIADMK's organisational secretary, Ponnaiyan, has urged the party's IT wing to expose the BJP for not fighting for the state’s rights. There is already disgruntlement within the AIADMK over the fact that the state BJP is overshadowing them.
In a two-day workshop held at the party headquarters in Chennai, Ponnaiyan warned his party men that indirect propaganda about pushing the AIADMK to the backseat was occurring on social media. He instructed cadres to be wary of it.
“We should be careful about the indirect propaganda to push AIADMK to the back,” stated Ponnaiyan.
“People should realise that be it Mullaiperiyar, Cauvery or Paalaru issues, the BJP is not raising their voice on these issues! We can’t say this since we are an allied party, but shouldn’t this be spread on social media and awareness be created among the public,” asked Ponnaiyan.
As per party sources, several AIADMK senior leaders are already unhappy with the BJP winning four seats under AIADMK’s banner and allegedly boasting about it as a victory given by the people.
However, with Annamalai gaining importance by being the first to question the DMK government on law and order issues, senior AIADMK leaders are worried that the party is losing prominence among the youth and the new generation of voters.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Nayinar Nagendran has said that the BJP is ready to welcome Sasikala if the AIADMK is not ready to include her.
