AIADMK leader Edappadi Palaniswami slammed O Panneerselvam for extending an olive branch to TTV Dhinakaran and expelled leader Sasikal. EPS said that OPS’ decision to join forces with Sasikala was his own interest and not what cadres wanted.
Edappadi Palaniswami (EPS), slammed O Panneerselvam (OPS) for turning cosy towards expelled AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) leader Sasikala’s camp.
OPS had extended an olive branch towards TTV Dhinakaran and Sasikala, which EPS dismissed as his own interest and not that of the cadres. TTV Dhinakaran agreed with what OPS had said about joining hands.
“OPS has said that let everyone be themselves and join hands, which is what I’m saying too. Even though we were the ones who were severely damaged, we are ready to forgive, to wade off evil forces from Tamil Nadu,” stated TTV Dhinakaran.
However, the former CM, EPS, stated that decisions within AIADMK would only be taken according to the wishes of the cadres.
While speaking at an event in Trichy, EPS stated that the party is still strong and that the AIADMK is following in the footsteps of the late Jayalalitha and MG Ramachandran (MGR).
EPS also slammed OPS for stating that he has no interest in becoming the CM or the party head. “If he’s not interested, why did he create such a ruckus? Why did he go to HQ leading the vandalism? Why did he cause unnecessary trouble?” questioned EPS.
