Ahmedabad reports 31 new Covid cases, zero death in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, Ahmedabad recorded 31 new Covid cases with active cases in the city reaching 206. Gujarat, on the other hand, recorded a third consecutive day of 50-plus cases at 53.
Ahmedabad on Monday recorded 31 new Covid cases with active cases in the city reaching 206. On the other hand, Gujarat recorded third consecutive day of 50-plus cases at 53.
Vadodara reported 9 new Covid cases, Surat and Valsad recorded 3 each respectively. Meanwhile, 2 cases were reported from Rajkot and 1 each from Anand, Mehsana, Tapi.
The state health department officials said that none of the active patients were on ventilators.
Gujarat in 24 hours vaccinated 1,281 persons for the first dose and 19,197 for the second. In all, 5.39 crore are administered first and 5.28 crore second dose of Covid vaccine.
Gujarat administered booster doses to 16,446 persons, taking a total of 34.68 lakh.
