Ahead of the zila panchayat chairperson polls for 53 seats in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, former Member of Parliament Ramkishun of the Samajwadi Party was seen falling at the feet of his party’s zila panchayat members in a viral video. In eastern UP’s Chandauli, former MLA from Chandauli constituency Ramkishun fell at Samajwadi Party members’ feet and asked them to be united in voting for the party’s candidate for the post of zila panchayat chairperson. Tej Narayan Yadav is the Samajwadi Party’s candidate from the area. He is Ramkishun’s nephew.
