Founded in 2024 by Vibha Singal, an Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad alumna, Sukoon Unlimited aims to combat loneliness and create a sense of belonging for seniors. According to the company, its “For Seniors, By Seniors” approach empowers seniors with autonomy and dignity.
Research shows that one in three seniors experiences loneliness, which can heighten the risk of depression and physical illnesses. Social connections, however, can reduce these risks by up to 30%.
Leveraging an AI tech-first strategy, Sukoon Unlimited claims to support the mental, emotional, social, and physical well-being of seniors, providing a holistic solution for the problems many seniors phase. The start-up’s use of Conversational AI helps to ensure that seniors have companionship and support around the clock.
Commenting on the funding, Vibha Singal, founder and CEO of Sukoon Unlimited, said, “Having seen my parents and loved ones grow older, I’ve witnessed how they become more emotionally vulnerable. As they age, they often seek a sense of purpose and connection, and it’s clear that those emotional needs are just as important as physical ones. This experience inspired me to create Sukoon Unlimited.”
“By joining hands with like-minded individuals, we are working together toward a common goal—to make sure no senior has to navigate ageing alone. We are deeply thankful to our investors for supporting us at this early stage, helping us turn our vision into reality and build a community where seniors can rediscover joy, forge meaningful connections, and feel valued every day.”
One of the lead investors, Geet Lulla, Senior Advisor- Anchorage Capital Partners(India), added, “Sukoon Unlimited is addressing a fundamental challenge in senior care—combating loneliness by fostering connections and purpose. In a world that is rapidly ageing, platforms like Sukoon Unlimited are essential to ensuring the well-being of our elders. Vibha and her team have demonstrated remarkable vision and empathy, and I am honoured to be a part of their journey to create a more inclusive, supportive society for seniors.”
