Ahead of the bypoll to the Bochahan seat in Bihar, Vikassheel Insan Party chief and state minister Mukesh Sahani is likely to exit the National Democratic Alliance.
With the announcement of the bypoll to the Bochahan seat in Bihar, the countdown to Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP) supremo and state minister Mukesh Sahani's likely exit from the National Democratic Alliance has also begun.
Mukesh Sahani's VIP, which contested the recently concluded assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, fielded 53 candidates against the BJP. Several BJP leaders are now demanding he be sacked him from his ministerial post in the Nitish Kumar-led state government.
Now, with the declaration of bypolls, the VIP supremo is likely to be shown the door by the NDA in the next ten days.

The Bochahan seat has become a bone of contention between both parties as it was earlier held by VIP's Musafir Paswan but fell vacant after his death.
After Sahani's misadventure in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is now all set to fight Bochahan seat and field Baby Kumari as its candidate.
"Baby Kumari has earlier served as legislator from Bochahan seat. There is nothing left for an alliance partner if they cross their limit,” said BJP leader Arvind Kumar Singh.
