
After shattering box office records, Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rise sets a new record

Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise has set a new record. The film's album has garnered massive views.
Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise broke several box office records. The film, which released in December 2021, earned more than Rs 350 crore. Pushpa: The Rise is based on the lives of red sandalwood smugglers in the Seshachalam region of Andhra Pradesh. While the first part saw the rise of Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) from being a coolie to a syndicate head, the second part titled, Pushpa: The Rule, will see the face-off between Pushpa Raj and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil).
After the mega success of Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rule is expected to go on floors in a couple of weeks. The film has made a new record. Pushpa: The Rise's album has got over 500 crore views. It is the first pan-India film to achieve this feat.
Pushpa also marked the reunion of director Sukumar, Allu Arjun, and music composer Devi Sri Prasad. The trio had previously worked together in Arya and Arya 2. Allu Arjun and DSP started their careers with director Sukumar.
Sharing the news, trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote, "The Biggest Ever Feat In Indian Cinema Icon Star @alluarjun 's #PushpaTheRise is the First Album to hit 5 BILLION VIEWS A Rockstar @ThisIsDSP Musical #5BViewsForPushpaAlbum (sic)."

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rule will hit the theatres in 2023. Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna play lead roles in the film.
