After bound and shot, burned and piled bodies among latest horrors in Ukraine's Bucha

A pile of six burned bodies was found just days after a mass grave was discovered in a trench in Ukraine's Bucha. Over 400 people are reported to have been killed by the Russian troops as they withdrew from the city.
More details of the horrors committed by Russian troops in Ukraine's Bucha come to the fore. Earlier reports had confirmed that over 400 people were tortured and killed in Bucha, which is less than 60 km away from the capital Kyiv.
As per the latest report by the Associated Press, six burned and blackened corpses were discovered in Bucha, though, it was not clear who the people were and under what circumstances they were killed.
The pile of bodies lay near a residential street, close to a colorful and empty playground clearly visible to any passersby.

The blackened bodies bore marks of torture. One of the bodies in the pile was found with its arms raised in supplication while another had a bullet hole in the head. A body of a child was identified on the pile of charred bodies.
In earlier reports, a mass grave was found in a trench in the grounds of a church. The bodies were bound and evidence suggested they were tortured before being shot to death.Ukraine has been accusing Russia of committing war crimes and called the Bucha killings a "massacre". However, Russia denied the allegations and calling them a "provocation" by Ukraine.
On Tuesday, India condemned the Bucha killings and supported calls for an independent investigation into the matter. Speaking at the UN Security Council meeting, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, TS Tirumurti, said India unequivocally condemned these killings and supported the call for an independent investigation.
