After Aryan Khan clean chit, lawyer wants Rhea Chakraborty drug case probed
India Today
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde, who also represented Aryan Khan, has sought a fresh probe into the drug case involving the actress.
A day after a Special Investigation Team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) gave a clean chit to Aryan Khan in Mumbai cruise drug bust case, lawyer Satish Maneshinde sought a similar enquiry into Rhea Chakraborty’s drug case.
Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested over drugs-related charges in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Satish Maneshinde, who represented Aryan Khan, had also represented Rhea Chakraborty in her case.
“There should be enquiry in Rhea Chakraborty and Shovik case as well. No drugs were found on them. No tests were done,” Satish Maneshinde alleged.
He added, “For the last three years, the NCB has troubled a lot of people and action is needed against these officials. There were just WhatsApp chats and no test was done. When Aryan Khan case showed that false case was made, which had continued since Rhea Chakraborty’s time, then new investigation was opened.”

He sought enquiry into all such cases handled by the NCB officials, adding, “Bollywood actors have life of 10-20 years only (in the industry) and they have to be fit, which can’t be done with drugs. But for popularity they (the NCB) did this and paraded stars.”
Aryan Khan’s lawyer sought action against the NCB officials who he said “acted the way they shouldn’t have.”
