India Today
Women in Afghanistan's Ghor province, which is being trampled upon by the Taliban, have taken up arms to defend their motherland against the military organisation.
Ghor, the Afghan province, is known in India for being the home of one of the fiercest military generals who invaded India during the medieval age. He was known as Muhammad Ghori or Muhammad of Ghor. Muhammad Ghori's invasions of India led to foundation of the Delhi Sultanate and also of the Islamic rule in India by what is called the Slave Dynasty. This happened after the defeat of Indian king Prithviraj Chauhan, with whom Muhammad Ghori fought multiple battles.More Related News
