Afghan acting Foreign Minister visits Pakistan on maiden trip

Afghanistan's Acting Foreign Minister visited Pakistan for the first time since the Taliban seized control of Kabul.
Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi, on Wednesday, arrived here, his first visit to the country, as part of efforts by the two sides to reset their ties in the wake of the Taliban’s takeover of Kabul.
Commerce Advisor Abdul Razak Dawood, Pakistan's Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq and senior officials received him at the Nur Khan Airbase. The Taliban's representative at the Afghan embassy in Islamabad, Shakaib Ahmad, was also present.
