Adopting integrative government approach essential to address big challenge like COVID-19: Minister

Doha - Minister of Public Health HE Dr Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari underlined that importance of collaborative work, noting that the adoption of an integrative government approach based on the principles of science and comprehensive healthcare was an essential element to address a great challenge like the COVID-19 pandemic.

HE the Minister of Public Health indicated that the availability of an integrated, strong, and well-prepared health system for emergencies, in addition to the good management of this system during the crisis, helped save many lives and keep the death rate low, as well as keeping the country's economy as active as possible.

This came during HE the Minister of Public Health's participation as a guest of honor and a keynote speaker in the first day of a webinar organized by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) under the title "Towards a Post-Pandemic World: Lessons from COVID-19 for Now and the Future".
