Admissions via CUET at St Stephen's are likely to involve interviews

CUET admissions at St. Stephen's seem different from that of the rest of Delhi University. Students can check the latest updates here related to the college admission process.
St Stephen's is once again considering conducting UG admissions via CUET. Delhi University's St Stephen's college has adopted CUET but does not intend to rely on it for admissions alone. Several recent updates indicate that the interview round for UG admissions will remain in place.
According to the St Stephen's UG admission policy, approximately 85 percent weightage would be given to the CUET score and the remaining 15 percent weightage would be given to the interview round.
For St Stephen's, having CUET, which is similar to DU admissions, is very new. As a minority institute, the college has always had its own admissions policies which are different from other colleges. In general, the college had its own cut-off list, which was different from DU's cut-off list.
St Stephen's has written to DU and its authorities seeking permission to continue the interview mandate ever since CUET was introduced. DU's Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh also shared that the issue of St. Stephen's admissions would be resolved with dialogue.
After a number of meetings, St Stephen's will submit its final response to DU in this interview round. Now, Delhi University will decide on how to conduct the interview call in St Stephen's UG admission process for the current academic year.
