Indian Idol 12 is yet again embroiled in another controversy. After getting trolled for their Kishore Kumar episode and fans demanding the ouster of contestant Shanmukha Priya, now host Aditya Narayan's comment on the show is under the scanner. The singer had made a comment on Alibaug, which didn't go down well with people. Aditya Narayan took to social media to apologise to the people of Alibaug for his comment on the show. The singer, who hosts the singing reality show, was seen asking a contestant, Sawai Bhatt, if he has come from Alibaug. Aditya had to apologise after Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's (MNS) Chitrapat Sena chief, Ameya Khopkar, accused the makers of Indian Idol 12 of showing Alibaug in poor light and asked for an apology. Aditya Narayan took to Facebook to post his apology. He wrote, "With a humble heart and folded hands I want to apologise to the people of Alibaug and everyone who has been hurt by my sentence on a recent episode of Indian Idol that I’m currently hosting. The intention was never to hurt anyone. I have immense love and respect for Alibaug. My own sentiments are connected with the place, it’s people and this soil."More Related News
