Adding kabaddi to my resume: Rishabh Pant has a blast with DC coach Ricky Ponting's son Fletcher

IPL 2022: Rishabh Pant is currently plying his trade for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Delhi Capitals’ (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant, on Friday, May 6, uploaded a hilarious video where he can be seen having fun with Ricky Ponting’s son Fletcher. Over the last one and half months, Pant has been going through a grueling time as his team has strained to perform in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
But while enjoying with Ponting’s child, Pant can be seen in a jolly mood. The southpaw lifted the kid up and seemed energetic. Fletcher also looked happy while having a gala time with the DC captain. In the end, Pant wore a blue hat and the young kid tried to take it off the cricketer’s head. Tearaway fast bowler Kamlesh Nagarkoti was also seen in the video.
On Sunday, Pant had reasons to celebrate after the Capitals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 21 runs at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. David Warner became the Player of the Match for his 92-run knock. Pant said that Warner’s inning was one of the very best he has witnessed of late. He also had words of praise for Rovman Powell, who scored 67 off 35 balls.
"I think there is always room to improve, but I think this is as close to the perfect match for us as a batting unit. [In the chase when Pooran was batting] I was calm. In these high run chases, you know the other team needs 8 to 12 runs in an over above the run rate. It's difficult to hit until the 20th over,” Pant was quoted as saying.
So I was trying to take the game deep and tell the bowlers, 'Let's be calm. Let him try to hit if he can.' [On Warner] The way he paced his innings, it's one of the best innings I've seen over a period of time for Delhi. [On Powell] I don't mind having one or two conversations here or there. At the start, he was not getting runs but we backed him and now he's coming out with flying colors,” he added.
