Adams says 'DC has abandoned us' as NYC slashes budgets over migrant crisis
Fox News
New York City's mayor says that the federal government has abandoned the sanctuary city in its struggles with the ongoing migrant crisis it is facing.
The "sanctuary" city has seen over 130,000 migrants come into the city since last year, a relatively small number of which have been bussed in via Texas. Adam Shaw is a politics reporter for Fox News Digital, primarily covering immigration and border security.

While it’s just a fraction of the more than 2.4 million migrants encountered at the southern border in the last fiscal year, the city has been overwhelmed, with Adams warning the crisis could "destroy" the city and demanding more federal help.
