Act Of "Distorted Mind": Kolkata Police Chief On Fake Vaccination Case

Kolkata Police arrested Debanjan Deb, 28, earlier this week for allegedly posing as an IAS officer and organising a fake COVID-19 vaccination camp in the city.
Kolkata Police Commissioner Soumen Mitra on Friday said that the organisation of fake COVID-19 vaccination camps by a man pretending to be an IAS officer is an act of a "distorted mind". Debanjan Deb, a 28-year-old man who held several camps where around 2,000 people were suspected to have been inoculated, was arrested earlier this week. "What Debanjan has done is very inhuman. It can only be done by one with mental distortion," Mr Mitra told reporters. After inaugurating a vaccination camp in the city, the police commissioner said that the matter is being investigated.More Related News
