‘Absolute nonsense’: Khan rejects claim Pakistan helping Taliban

Imran Khan denies report that Pakistani fighters crossed border to aid Taliban in its fight against Afghan government.

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has denied a report that Pakistani fighters have crossed the border into Afghanistan to aid the Taliban in its fight against the Afghan government. “This is absolute nonsense”, Khan said in an interview with PBS NewsHour anchor Judy Woodruff. Prime Minister Khan also said that Pakistan has suffered tremendously during the long US war in Afghanistan.
