Abhishek Bachchan might play the role of a cricketer in R Balki's yet-to-be-titled sports drama. According to reports, the makers are currently on a hunt for the female lead.

R Balki recently announced his next film, Chup, with Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salman, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt. And now, we hear that the director is all set to helm a sports drama. According to news reports, Abhishek Bachchan has been approached to play a cricketer in the film. Earlier, Balki had worked with Abhishek's father, Amitabh Bachchan, in three films - Cheeni Kum (2007), Paa (2009) and Shamitabh (2015).
