Dasvi's first screening was held for the guards and inmates of Agra Central Jail. Abhishesk Bachchan shared a video of the same and wrote that he fulfilled his commitment that he made a year ago.
Abhishek Bachchan's upcoming film, Dasvi, was filmed at Agra Central Jail. On March 29, the film's first screening was held there and the Dasvi team got a great response from the guards and the inmates. While shooting for the film, Abhishek struck up a cordial relationship with a few of the inmates and even promised them an exclusive screening of the film. And on Tuesday, the actor fulfilled his commitment.
Abhishek Bachchan's Dasvi is set to premiere on Netflix and Jio Cinema on April 7. Abhishek along with his co-stars Yami Gautam, Nimrat Kaur and director Tushar Jalota returned to Agra Central Jail to screen Dasvi for around 2000 guards and inmates there.
Abhishek Bachchan shared a video of the same and penned a sweet note on Instagram. He wrote, "A promise is a promise!! Last night I managed to fulfil a commitment I made a year ago. The first screening of our film #Dasvi held for the guards and inmates of Agra Central Jail. We shot the film here. Their reactions are memories I will remember and cherish for a lifetime (sic)."

At the Agra Central Jail, Abhsihek took a stroll and recalled the moments spent there. He was also seen pointing out where he shot the Macha Macha song and other scenes in Dasvi. The actor also donated books to the library of the Argra jail.
Dasvi, presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan is a Maddock Films production. Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bake My Cake Films, it will begin streaming on Jio Cinema and Netflix from April 7.
