AAP staged a protest outside the CBI headquarters in Delhi demanding a probe against BJP’s alleged ‘Operation Lotus'.
The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday staged protest outside the CBI headquarters in Delhi demanding probe against BJP’s alleged ‘Operation Lotus’. The AAP delegation was stopped from crossing the barricade outside CBI headquarters, following which they sat on dharna outside the office.
The AAP accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to topple governments in several states under its ‘Operation Lotus’.
AAP MPs Sanjay Singh, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Atishi are among the party leaders sitting on dharna.
Earlier, AAP leader Atishi tweeted that the party is demanding an investigation into the Rs 6300 crore allegedly spent by BJP on 'Operation Lotus."
He said, “Delegation of AAP MLAs is en route to CBI Headquarters to file a complaint against ‘Operation Lotus’. We are demanding an investigation into the sources of 6300 crores spent by BJP on ‘Operation Lotus’ across the country.”
