AAB Chess Open U-16 gets underway

Doha: Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. W.L.L. (AAB), the exclusive distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Qatar, began the AAB Chess Open U-16 in collaboration with Qatar Chess Association (QCA). 

Around 175 Chess enthusiasts U-16 years old joined and participated in the first 11 Rounds of Blitz Chess played on the online platform lichess.org. The top 32 players will move on to the Finals to be held on April 2 from which the Top 4 participants will play during the last knock-out Round on April 9.
